Agreement Scope
These terms govern the relationship between Harbour Nest and clients receiving elderly care services. By engaging our services, you accept these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
Service Description
Harbour Nest provides professional elderly care services in Singapore including:
- Transitional care support following hospitalization or health changes
- Wellness and lifestyle enhancement programs
- Around-the-clock comprehensive care with coordinated team support
- Health monitoring, medication management, and activity facilitation
- Family communication and care coordination
Specific services and scope are defined in individual care agreements.
Payment Terms
Service fees are billed monthly in Singapore Dollars (SGD). Payment terms:
- Payment due by the first day of each service month
- Accepted methods include bank transfer and approved payment platforms
- Late payments may result in service suspension after 14 days
- Service rates may be adjusted with 30 days written notice
- All fees are subject to applicable taxes
Service Adjustments and Cancellation
Care plans may be modified as needs change. Service level adjustments require 7 days notice. To terminate services, provide 14 days written notice. Refunds for prepaid unused services will be calculated on a pro-rata basis. Emergency terminations may have different terms as specified in your care agreement.
Client Responsibilities
To ensure effective care delivery, clients and families agree to:
- Provide accurate health information and update changes promptly
- Maintain safe home environment for care specialists
- Make payment according to agreed schedule
- Communicate concerns or needed adjustments in timely manner
- Respect care specialists with courtesy and professional treatment
Service Limitations
Our services support daily living and wellness but do not include medical diagnosis or treatment. Care specialists are not medical professionals except where specifically qualified. Emergency medical situations require contacting appropriate medical services. We coordinate with healthcare providers but do not replace medical care.
Liability
Harbour Nest maintains appropriate insurance and exercises reasonable care in service delivery. Our liability is limited to direct damages resulting from our negligence. We are not liable for pre-existing health conditions, medical decisions by healthcare providers, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Clients are encouraged to maintain their own insurance coverage.
Confidentiality
All personal and health information is treated as confidential according to our Privacy Policy and Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act. Care specialists sign confidentiality agreements. Information is shared only with authorized individuals and entities as needed for care delivery.
Dispute Resolution
Concerns should first be raised with your care coordinator for informal resolution. If issues remain unresolved, they may be addressed through mediation. Any legal proceedings fall under Singapore jurisdiction and are governed by Singapore law.
